Usage notes

[edit]

Both persoonallisesti and henkilökohtaisesti may be translated as "personally" into English. The difference is that persoonallisesti refers to one's external habitus or way of doing things, and henkilökohtaisesti refers to one's feelings or opinions. Only henkilökohtaisesti may have the sense "in person".
