  1. (field hockey or ice hockey) A parasport, an adapted form of roller hockey, and a floor version of (ice) sledge hockey, where disabled athletes rid atop roller sledges (roller sleds), and propel themselves with a pair of roller sledge hockey sticks, that function as canes/"walking sticks" and hockey sticks. Various variants of roller sledge hockey use different configurations of wheels.
