Etymology[edit]

self- +‎ perpetuation

Noun[edit]

self-perpetuation (usually uncountable, plural self-perpetuations)

    • 1994, Thomas Jeavons, When the Bottom Line is Faithfulness, page 65:
One assumption that virtually all organizational theories and theorists seem to share is that every organization will devote itself to its own self-perpetuation. Experience suggests this assumption is generally well founded.
