  1. A peg, driven into the ground, to hold a rope that supports a tent.
    Synonyms: spike, stake
    Upon arrival at the campsite, they discovered that they had forgotten the tent pegs; they had to use rocks and logs to tether the tent instead.
  2. (Cockney rhyming slang) An egg.
