tetracolon (plural tetracolons or tetracola)
- (poetry) A stanza or division in lyric poetry, consisting of four verses or lines.
- 1791, Henry Dimock, Notes Critical and Explanatory:
- the two verses would form a beautiful tetracolon, the first line answering to the third, and the second to the fourth
