[edit]Verb
[edit]ætīewan

- I'm writing down the thoughts that appear in my mind.

Usage notes
[edit]- The un-i-mutated spelling ætēowan seem to have been preferred for the intransitive sense of the verb, while the i-mutated forms (ætīewan, ætȳwan, and ætīwan) are more commonly attested for the transitive sense. However, this is only a generalisation.
