Learned influence on ακατάδεχτος (akatádechtos) with alteration [xt] > [kt]], itself inherited from Byzantine Greek ἀκατάδεκτος (akatádektos). Morphologically, α- (a-) + verb καταδέχομαι (katadéchomai, condescend) as: α- (a-, privative) +‎ κατα- (kata-) +‎ δεκτός (dektós, accepted) from verb δέχομαι (déchomai, accept, receive), stem δεκ-.
