Learnedly, from Hellenistic Koine Greek ἀτύχημα (atúkhēma) (the ancient sense: "mistake"). Morphologically, α- (a-) +‎ τύχη (týchi, luck) +‎ -μα (-ma, suffix for neuters).[1]
