θύσανος
Ancient Greek
Etymology
Technical word in -ανος. According to Persson, it is from Proto-Indo-European *dʰudʰ-ih₂, the same root of Latvian duša (“bundle of straw”). However, the variation shown in θυσανόεις (thusanóeis)/θυσσανόεις (thussanóeis) rather points to a Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "pregrc" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. origin.
