Borrowed from Russian ДЗОТ (DZOT), an initialism of де́рево-земляна́я огнева́я то́чка (dérevo-zemljanája ognevája tóčka, literally wood-earth firing point).

      Ім трэ́ба было́ непрыкме́тна падабра́цца і, калі́ Ермако́ў пачне́ штурм паўста́нка, закі́даць дзот грана́тамі, прыму́сіць яго́ сці́хнуць.
      Im tréba byló njeprykmjétna padabrácca i, kalí Jermakóŭ pačnjé šturm paŭstánka, zakídacʹ dzot hranátami, prymúsicʹ jahó scíxnucʹ.
      They had to get closer to the pillbox without getting noticed and, when Jermakoŭ were due to start an assault on the halt, shower the pillbox with grenades to suppress it.
