(Editor's note: Also compared by CHYD to Proto-Kottic *tekan ~ *dekan (“light”),[4] from whence Kott tegan (“light”);[5][6] a further potential parallel, though not listed as a direct descendant of Proto-Yeniseian *dʲiːn due to the anlaut disparity (if genuine, Kott *c̔egan would be expected.))
