Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (keŋäš, advice); Tatar киңәш (kiñäş), Kazakh кеңес (keñes), Kyrgyz кеңеш (keŋeş), Uzbek kengash, Uyghur كېڭەش (kë'ngesh), Turkmen geñeş (advice).
