Usage notes[edit]

Оди́н о́дного (Odýn ódnoho) should be used when speaking about two persons of masculine gender, while одна́ о́дну (odná ódnu) should be used when speaking about two persons of feminine gender; одне́ о́дного (odné ódnoho) is for when one person is masculine gender and the other one is feminine, and other combinations like neuter + feminine or neuter + masculine.
