Etymology

Probably borrowed from Polish pakunek (like па́ка (páka) from paka),[1] from German Packung. By surface analysis, пак(ува́ти) (pak(uváty)) +‎ -у́нок (-únok). Compare Belarusian паку́нак (pakúnak).
