Old Armenian
Etymology
From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Akkadian 𒅇𒆪𒊒𒌝 (agurru, ukurru [Ù.KU.RU.UM]), according to Diakonoff either directly from it or mediated by (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Hurrian. But because the word is attested late, Ačaṙean and J̌ahukyan prefer Persian آگور (âgur) as the immediate source for the Armenian.
