Old Armenian

Etymology

The origin is uncertain.[1] Probably borrowed from a Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "MIr." is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. descendant of Proto-Indo-Iranian *káwHiš, with the augmentative prefix ս- (s-).[2][3] Has also been connected with the Iranian ethnonym Saka.[4]
