Alternative forms[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Probably borrowed from German inszenieren. By surface analysis, אין (in) +‎ סצענע (stsene) +‎ ־ירן (-irn). Alternative form אינסצעניזירן (instsenizirn) derives from Ukrainian інсценізува́ти (inscenizuváty) and/or Polish inscenizować +‎ ־ירן (-irn). Compare also Belarusian інсцэні́раваць (insceníravacʹ), Russian инсцени́ровать (inscenírovatʹ), Ukrainian інсценува́ти (inscenuváty).

Pronunciation[edit]

  • IPA(key): /ɪnst͡səniːrn̩/
