כַּרְמָא (karmām (plural כַּרְמַיָּא)

    • c. 1001, Targum Onkelos, B'reishit 9:20:
      וְשָׁרֵי נֹחַ גְּבַר פָּלַח בְּאַרְעָא וּנְצִיב כַּרְמָא:
      wəšārē noaḥ gəḇar pālaḥ bəʾarʿā unəṣiḇ karmā.
      Noach began to be a man of the soil [a man who worked the land] and he planted a vineyard.
