Borrowed from Belarusian малі́ннік (malínnik) and Russian мали́нник (malínnik, raspberry thicket), albeit with a shift in syllable stress. Compare also Bulgarian малина́к (malinák). By surface analysis, מאַלינע (maline) +‎ ־ניק (-nik) or ־יק (-ik).
