פֶּגַע • (péga') m (plural indefinite פְּגָעִים, singular construct פֶּגַע־, plural construct פִּגְעֵי־) [pattern: קֶטֶל]

פָּגַע • (pagá) (pa'al construction, passive counterpart נִפְגַּע)

To hurt or injure (someone or something): to cause a wound or injury, or other damage.
1. Used with the preposition ב־ (b'-).
2. (rare) Taking a direct object.

  כִּי תִפְגַּע שׁוֹר אֹיִבְךָ אוֹ חֲמֹרוֹ תֹּעֶה הָשֵׁב תְּשִׁיבֶנּוּ לוֹ
