Usage notes[edit]

All addresses in Kuwait consist of an area, a block number, a street, and a building number. In some areas, an avenue is also required, in others, it may be optionally used to describe a minor street (the جادة‎ that branches off of a main street (شارع‎), and in others, it is not used at all.
