[edit]From دیش (diş, “tooth”) + ـلمك (-lemek, suffix forming infinitives from nouns or adjectives). Compare Azerbaijani dişləmək and Crimean Tatar tişlemek.

- (transitive) to bite, to cut into or hold something by clamping the teeth
- Synonym: اصرمق (ısırmak)
- (transitive) to nibble, to bite lightly, to take small bites out of something
