   مَا حَضَرَ مُنْذُ يَوْمَيْنِ

   mā ḥaḍara munḏu yawmayni

   He hasn't shown up for two days.

   لَم أَنَمْ مُنْذُ الخَمِيسِ

   lam ʔanam munḏu al-ḵamīsi

   I haven't slept since Thursday.
