Possibly related to Classical Syriac ܛܘܠ (ṭawwel, to walk around; to relieve oneself) and Hebrew טִיֵּל (tiyél, to hike, to walk for pleasure, to journey). Otherwise denominations of ܬܲܥܠܵܐ (taˁlā, fox) as in common activities foxes often appear to be playing. Compare also denominal of the word for fox word in Classical Syriac ܬܲܥܸܠ (to wag the tail).
