1. (fruit) pomegranate

   নেত্ৰ নীলোৎপল সম তিল ফুল নাস ।
   অবিৰল দশন দাড়িম্ব পৰকাশ ॥

   netro nīlötpolo somo tilo phulo naso ,
   obirolo dośono daṛimbo porokaśo .

   The eyes are like blue lotus, the nose is like a sesame flower,
   the teeth are shining like pomegranate (seeds).

2. (tree) pomegranate

   Synonym: দাড়িম্ব গাছ (daṛimbo gacho)
