Oblique/genitive of நாங்கள் (nāṅkaḷ).[1][2]

By surface analysis, என் (eṉ, my) +‎ -கள் (-kaḷ, plural marker). Cognate with Malayalam എങ്ങൾ (eṅṅaḷ) and Havigannada ಎಂಗಳ (eṅgaḷa).
