[edit]ထက်ဝယ် (htak-wai) is a borrowing from Mon (ဂဇံ)ထဝါဲ (“to sit cross-legged”),[1][2] with Burmese verbs ဖွဲ့ (hpwai., “to bind together”) and ခွေ (hkwe, “to coil, to curl”) added. See also Burmese ထားဝယ် (hta:wai).
