Etymology[edit]

Probably from Hebrew ביתא (baytā). This term along with other slang terms also spotted to be possibly of Hebrew descent (for instance გოიმი (goimi), ახვარი (axvari), ნაშა (naša)) mean that some slang terms might really be borrowed from Hebrew.
