Etymology[edit]

Coined by Shota Rustaveli in his only poem The Knight in the Panther's Skin (verse 50). Literally translates as "That which you give away is yours, that which you don't is lost".

რასაცა გასცემ შენია, რას არა დაკარგულია (rasaca gascem šenia, ras ara daḳargulia)
