[edit]From Italian feluca, ultimately from Arabic فَلُوكَة (falūka). Akin to Mingrelian ფილუკა (piluḳa), Laz ჶელუკა (feluǩa) and Svan ფილკუ̂ა̈ (pilḳûä), ფილიკუ̂აჲ (piliḳûay).
Note also Abkhaz аԥлика (aplikʼa).
