From Proto-Malayo-Sumbawan *aduh, from Lua error in Module:etymology at line 156: Proto-Sunda-Sulawesi (poz-sus-pro) is not set as an ancestor of Sundanese (su) in Module:languages/data/2. The ancestor of Sundanese is Old Sundanese (osn)., from Proto-Malayo-Polynesian *aduq, from Proto-Austronesian *aduq.
