Learned borrowing from the Tuareg Tifinagh letter (b), a Kidal's variant of (b), possibly from the Libyco-Berber letter , (b), from the Phoenician letter 𐤁 (beth (house)), ultimately from the Egyptian hieroglyph 𓉐 (pr (house)).
