[edit]Of native Korean origin. Although generally listed as being used in the Hwanghae dialect, it is also used on Gyodong Island in Ganghwa county.[1]

- Phonetic hangul: [갱(ː)가리/겡(ː)가리]
- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
