에게 (-ege)

  1. the dative particle; to
    엄마에게 전화를 했습니다.
    eomma-ege jeonhwa-reul haetseumnida.
    I called my mother.

Usage notes

에게 is the non-honorific form of (kke). Both are used only with nouns denoting animate objects (usually people or animals). For nouns denoting inanimate objects, (e) is used instead.
