Korean[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Appears to preserve the final coda of Old Korean 上只 (*WUk, above), but the aspiration is not expected—perhaps due to influence from the coda of Middle Korean 집웋 (cipwuh, roof).

Noun[edit]

지붕케 (jibungke)

  1. (Gyeongsang, dated) locative of 지붕 (jibung, roof): at the roof
    Synonym: (Standard Korean) 지붕 (jibung-e)
