Mycenaean Greek

[edit]

Glyph origin

[edit]

๐‚ƒ (EQU) 'horse' with an 'adjunct' (superimposed) syllable ๐€ž (pa). This glyph was not inherited from Minoan Linear A, but was apparently a graphic extension within Linear B from the Minoan-derived male livestock glyphs ๐‚‡ (OVISm) and ๐‚‰ (CAPm).

Noun
