Glyph origin

[edit]

๐‚ƒ (EQU) 'horse' with a ๐˜ -like stroke to indicate that it is female. This glyph was not inherited from Minoan Linear A, but was apparently a graphic extension within Linear B from the Minoan-derived female livestock glyphs ๐‚† (OVISf) and ๐‚ˆ (CAPf).
