Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘡𑘲𑘭𑘳𑘘𑘜𑘹 (nīsuṭaṇe), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀡𑀻𑀲𑀝𑁆𑀞 (ṇīsaṭṭha), 𑀡𑀺𑀲𑀝𑁆𑀞 (ṇisaṭṭha), 𑀡𑀺𑀲𑀺𑀝𑁆𑀞 (ṇisiṭṭha, past participle).
