Inherited from Apabhramsa 𑆱𑆶𑆤𑇀𑆤𑆳𑆫 (sunnāra), from Prakrit 𑀲𑀼𑀡𑁆𑀡𑀸𑀭 (suṇṇāra), 𑀲𑀼𑀡𑁆𑀡𑀆𑀭 (suṇṇaāra), 𑀲𑀼𑀯𑀡𑁆𑀡𑀆𑀭 (suvaṇṇaāra), from Sanskrit सुवर्णकार (suvarṇakāra). Doublet of सुवर्णकार (suvarṇakār).
