-ώνω (-óno)

  1. usually produces verbs indicating an action or its result
    (from noun) κλειδί (kleidí, hot) + ‎-ώνω (-óno) → ‎κλειδώνω (kleidóno, to lock)
    (from verb) αραιός (araiós, sparse) + ‎-ώνω (-óno) → ‎αραιώνω (araióno, to spread out, to dilute)
