From Proto-Indo-European *-sḱéti, which was used in Greek and Anatolian to form iterative past tenses.

  1. forming the aorist of most verbs
    գործեա-ցgorcea-cʻhe made
    հայե-ց-այhaye-cʻ-ayI looked
