From Proto-Indo-European *-sḱéti, which was used in Greek and Anatolian to form iterative past tenses.

1. forming the aorist of most verbs

   գործեա-ց ― gorcea-cʻ ― he made

   հայե-ց-այ ― haye-cʻ-ay ― I looked
