  1. Used to indicate the speaker's surprise.
    Tulihaa tänäpään meijen faabrikkaa kunigas!
    Today a king came to our factory!
  2. Used to involve the collocutor in the conversation: then, so
    Hää tahtoo noissa, kuinhaa saotaa, stantsian nacalnikaks.
    He wants to become, whaddayacallit, a stationmaster.
