Suffix[edit]

-idda

  1. The ending of the illative plural case.

Usage notes[edit]

This is the stressed suffix variant, attached to odd-syllable stems. For even-syllable stems, the unstressed variant -ide is used.

When possessive suffixes are attached, the suffix changes to the form -iddás- (for odd-syllable stems) or -idasa- (for even-syllable stems).
