    1. Resulting term often has the meaning of a building intended to shelter animals or people denoted in the base word.
      pes (dog) +‎ -inec = psinec (kennel)
    2. Resulting term often has the meaning of an excrement produced by the animal denoted in the base word.
      kobyla (mare) +‎ -inec = kobylinec (mare's excrement)
  2. May create a noun from a pronoun or adjective.
    náš (our) +‎ -inec = našinec (one of us, homeboy)
    cizí (strange, foreign) +‎ -inec = cizinec (stranger, foreigner)

Usage notes[edit]

The word našinec is probably the only case of this suffix added to a pronoun.
