From Ancient Greek λῆψις (lêpsis, seizure) + -ic.

Suffix

-leptic

  1. Of or relating to a condition of seizing, as in nympholeptic.
  2. A person who is afflicted with a condition prone to cause violent seizures, as in epileptic.
