This user is retired from editing Wiktionary, because of the rule about definitions in other languages that should "have translations instead of definitions". Until this rule is changed, I am no longer an editor here.

This user has two alternative accounts, LalalalaSta and TheMax95.

This page is about a Wiktionary user. Note that it is not a dictionary entry. For the words, see ready, steady, and/or yeti.

Hi! My goal here is for Wiktionary to become as reliable as possible. For every word in every language to be here. I especially am here to contribute to the Danish language, as a great majority of its words are not here. I've been learning Danish for almost 2 years now, and I know the structure and stuff pretty well now. It would be really nice to be able to enter any Danish word and Wiktionary give a translation, just like you can easily do with French, Spanish, and other languages. I also just started to sort of learn Malagasy, but only so I can improve Wiktionary's coverage of it, so I need some help from people who already know Malagasy and can help me. Overall, the thing I want to see happen is for Wiktionary to become as popular of a dictionary as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and as popular, because it really deserves to be as hard as we work for it. I also believe that Wiktionary should be the first dictionary whose entries pop up on search engines, just like Wikipedia's encyclopedia articles. I wish to see that happen before I leave.

My affiliation with the Danish Wiktionary

I also would like to improve the Danish Wiktionary as it is a huge mess right now. For instance it needs bots to copy and paste entries from other languages into its wiki like the Malagasy Wiktionary does and like other Wiktionaries do. It also needs more templates for word forms.

Wikipedia

I actually do not like Wikipedia. I think it will never improve enough because the system is so complicated, but I think Wiktionary has more potential actually than Wikipedia.

Other interests

I am obsessed with the animated television series Mona the Vampire. In fact, my username is named after one of my favorite episodes of the show. I am planning to make my own monathevampirewiki.com, as a wiki for Mona the Vampire, which I will have admin rights on.

Things I want changed here

  • Other language Wiktionaries have articles for words like "toad's", meaning something that belongs to a toad. I think we should have possessive words in English added to the English Wiktionary as well, despite the hectic amount of work it will take. I think we could get bots to somehow do that.
  • I want the anagram bot back and running!
  • I want someone to help me with Malagasy entries.
