Hebr. ס corresponds not to Arab. ش, but שׂ, so this is a bait Aramaism, not attested in the Tanakh. Klein’s Hebr. **שָׂרַט, of which he claims later spelling, would correspond to the Ar. but is not attested, just a textual corruption, found in Strong's but not anymore in Koehler-Baumgartner 1958. In Kittel’s Biblia Hebraica around the same age I have Lev. 21,5 לֹֽא יְגַלַּחוּ corresponding to Ar. جلخ instead of internet Bibles’ fake יִשְׂרְט֖וּ שָׂרָֽטֶת e.g. biblehub.com/leviticus/21-5.htm. |
