[around 1395] Of uncertain origin. Perhaps from Proto-Uralic *pürke- Lua error in Module:links at line 223: The specified language Proto-Uralic is unattested, while the given term does not begin with '*' to indicate that it is reconstructed.[1] + -gat (frequentative suffix).[2]
