Provides a links to an entry in an online copy of Roget's Thesaurus, to the entry in Wiktionary and to equivalent pages in the Thesaurus namespace.

Entries in Roget's Thesaurus often include nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Less often they include interjections and phrases. Each of these may correspond to more than one entry in the Thesaurus namespace.

Note that, due to the way Project Gutenberg handles incoming links, the first time the link is clicked it will be redirected to the general landing page for Roget's Thesaurus rather than the hyperlinked version. Subsequent clicks on any link should not be redirected.

Parameters

• headword (unnamed): Headword of the entry in Roget's Thesaurus.
• index number (unnamed): Index number of the entry in Roget's Thesaurus. Numbers suffixed with A should be followed by ".1", and those suffixed with B should be followed by ".2", to match hypertext anchors in the Project Gutenberg text.
• alt: An alternative entry on Wiktionary, if the Roget's headword is not appropriate.
• link2: A second headword, if required.
• comment: Any other text to appear before the list of links. E.g. for explanatory comments about interpreting the headword.
• n, n2 and n3: Links to nouns in the Thesaurus namespace (maximum of three).
• v, v2 and v3: Links to verbs in the Thesaurus namespace (maximum of three).
• adj, adj2 and adj3: Links to adjectives in the Thesaurus namespace (maximum of three).
• adv, adv2 and adv3: Links to adverbs in the Thesaurus namespace (maximum of three).
• int, int2 and int3: Links to interjections in the Thesaurus namespace (maximum of three).
• phr: Link to a phrase in the Thesaurus namespace (maximum of one).
• other: Any other text to appear in the list of links.
