Empty boxes

A few characters in each section show up as empty red boxes. Which software or fonts must one install on their computer in order to see these as characters rather than empty boxes? 173.88.246.138 12:08, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Thank you, I went to the website you recommended, downloaded the A and B fonts, installed them, got a message saying I already had both the A and B fonts in my computer's "Fonts" folder, it asked me if I want to add them anyway (overwriting the old versions), I clicked "Yes," then went back to this Wiktionary page. I had empty boxes before and I now have the same empty boxes afterwards. A typical section appears as follows:

Is any user of Wiktionary able to see the boxes as actual characters? If so, how are they doing that? It doesn't seem right that only a tiny proportion of users "really in the know" is able to view all the characters.

Hanazono officially hasn't come out with a new version to support "30..." characters (CJK Unified Ideographs Extension G, released in March) yet.

Thank you, I downloaded the BabelStone Han font, and the same empty boxes appear for the same characters. Is any Wiktionary user able to see them as actual characters, or have they been empty boxes for everyone else all along as well? 173.88.246.138 06:18, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
